Nobody walks in knowing what to do with their hands or how to post. That's not your job, it's mine as the photographer.
I'll give you direction the entire time and check hair/clothes/etc to make sure nothing's too distracting.

Hello June! I’m putting together a mini session that’s gonna have two different looks.

One look is going to be themed as a Jazz Age Beauty look: think 1920s style/attitude but not just flapper dresses.
The second look is a Romantic Bo***ir look: think soft, dramatic lighting, rich textures, and posing like you see in Renaissance paintings.

Ready is a lie. A decision comes first. Feeling ready or confident comes with doing the thing. I know it seems backward but I see it over and over with bo***ir. Women who felt so nervous and not confident leave the studio with a totally different way of seeing themselves and feeling fully confident.
You don't have to be ready. You just have to say yes.
