Stillllll catching up on posting sessions from this year, but I had to share this one.

Minhee + Sangwon rented the coolest vintage convertible Mustang and drove it down Highway 1 for their wedding photos, and it was just as fun as it sounds. Windows down, cruising the Big Sur coast, stopping along the way for photos… basically the perfect afternoon.

And to make it even better Noelle Mosolf came along and captured everything on Super 8 film! Cannot wait to share more from this day.

Also, with everything happening in Big Sur right now, I just want to say how incredibly thankful I am for all of the firefighters and crews working so hard to fight the Timber and Plaskett Fires and protect this place we all love so much. ❤️

I think I might have been blessed with the sweetest clients ever this year. Literally, all of them, especially these two right here are like the nicest humans on earth. This day was filled with laughter, huge smiles and so much generosity to guests and vendors. Some wedding days fly by so quick because they’re so fun and effortless, and this was definitely one of them. Congrats J + H!

People always ask me if I think rain ruins an elopement, and my answer is always the same… absolutely not.

Honestly, these usually end up being my favorite wedding days.

Chloe and Cole’s day started with a little sprinkle while we were in the redwoods at Glen Oaks. Instead of stressing, they embraced it. By the time we made it to the coast, we were rewarded with the most incredible sky. It couldn’t have ended more perfectly.

Weather is just part of the adventure, and some of the most memorable wedding days happen when things don’t go exactly as planned.

This is only the first peek—I have hundreds more photos from this day that I can’t wait to share.

If anything, this day convinced me once again that the best wedding stories rarely come with a perfect forecast.

Emily and Brandon’s wedding weekend at Ventana Big Sur was intentionally designed so they could be fully present on their wedding day.

They exchanged vows at Sur Vista with the cliffs disappearing into the clouds behind them before celebrating with family and friends in the Glass House. Instead of squeezing portraits into an already full wedding day, we planned an adventure session two days later. That gave them the freedom to slow down, enjoy every moment with their guests, and then explore Big Sur together without a timeline to follow.

For their portraits, we wandered the coastline, climbed along the cliffs, and ended the evening at the beach—capturing this season of their lives in the place they chose to begin it.

A reminder that your wedding photos don’t have to happen all in one day. Sometimes the best way to experience your wedding is to be fully present for it.
