Getting together with family this summer? I’m getting a bunch of requests for extended family photo sessions, and it's making me super happy! Getting everyone together can be a real challenge so it’s a great opportunity to have portraits done. Also, grandparents love get pics of their grandkids, but it's not often they get a photo with them! That's why I love these sessions, it's like capturing a little time capsule of joy that'll be treasured forever.

When I do extended family sessions, I make sure to take shots of the whole group, individual core families, grandparents with grandkids, just the kiddos, and any other groupings they’d like. I'm all about capturing candid moments too, so we're guaranteed to have some fun along the way!

How’s everyone doing after the long weekend? Usually, weekends don’t mean much in our household (with my husband on a 6 day per week schedule and me working most weekends), but our little family did slow down yesterday for some quality time together. We had a picnic and then came home to cuddle up on the couch! 👨‍👩‍👦❤️
And the weather here lately has been amazing! Perfect for sun-drenched engagement sessions like this one. How cute are they?! Their comfort and contentment with each other shows through. 🥰
