🍂 Something a little different this fall…
I know I haven’t been quite as active on this page lately. Life has been BUSY, but behind the scenes I’ve also been spending a lot of time learning, experimenting and figuring out where I want my photography to go next.
I’ve spent the last several years learning this craft, and I’m genuinely so grateful for every family who has trusted me along the way. You guys have given me the opportunity to grow SO much. ❤️
Lately, though, I’ve been wanting my work to feel like more than just pretty pictures. I want to create images that tell a story. The kind that feel warm, nostalgic and a little cinematic. Photographs where the clothing, location, light, little details and actual connection between your family all work together.
So I have an idea. 🍁
I’m thinking about offering a handful of Pay What You Can Autumn Storybook Sessions this fall specifically so I can really explore this style and build more of it into my portfolio.
These wouldn’t be the typical 10–15 minute mini where we rush through a few poses and send the next family in. I want to actually plan these with you! help coordinate wardrobe, choose the right location, incorporate simple props or an activity when it fits, and give us enough time for everyone to relax so we can create something that feels like your family’s little fall story.
Because these would be portfolio-building sessions, I would ask that you’re comfortable with me sharing the images on my website and social media.
I still want these to be accessible, which is why I’d love to make them Pay What You Can. I may also offer a day of my usual quick fall minis for anyone who just wants some updated family photos!
Right now I’m mostly putting out feelers before I start planning everything…
