As the constant battle between my brain and my heart rages on, one thought keeps popping into my head: That Bryce was an old soul, and he was on his final trip home.
βHe was just built differently. He moved through life with a quiet wisdom, steady kindness, and a depth that stayed with anyone who took the time to truly know him. You could see it in his deep brown eyes. I genuinely believe he came into this world with only a handful of human lessons left to learn and lives to touch.
βHe didn't waste time on the noise of the world. He lived with a level of empathy, intellect, and natural talent that takes most of us a lifetime to figure out. True to who he was, he mastered everything he needed to way ahead of schedule, finished his purpose here, and made his way back home.
βMy brain fights with the reality of his absence every minute of every day, but my heart stays anchored in who he was and the love i have for him. Viewing his journey this way doesn't take away the heavy weight of missing him, but it gives my mind a way to make sense of why a soul so bright and complete was called back so soon. He mastered what it means to be human far faster than the rest of us, and I am so deeply proud to carry his story πβοΈ
I love you buddy and miss you more than life itself π π πͺ
