Bryce Alexander Pillette Memorial Page

Bryce Alexander Pillette Memorial Page This is a page dedicated to the memory of our son Bryce Pillette. Bryce was a brilliant photographer, musician, writer and artist.

He had impeccable style, was very empathetic, loving, caring man who had a smile that lit up every room and was loved by all

As the constant battle between my brain and my heart rages on, one thought keeps popping into my head: That Bryce was an old soul, and he was on his final trip home.

He was just built differently. He moved through life with a quiet wisdom, steady kindness, and a depth that stayed with anyone who took the time to truly know him. You could see it in his deep brown eyes. I genuinely believe he came into this world with only a handful of human lessons left to learn and lives to touch.

He didn't waste time on the noise of the world. He lived with a level of empathy, intellect, and natural talent that takes most of us a lifetime to figure out. True to who he was, he mastered everything he needed to way ahead of schedule, finished his purpose here, and made his way back home.

My brain fights with the reality of his absence every minute of every day, but my heart stays anchored in who he was and the love i have for him. Viewing his journey this way doesn't take away the heavy weight of missing him, but it gives my mind a way to make sense of why a soul so bright and complete was called back so soon. He mastered what it means to be human far faster than the rest of us, and I am so deeply proud to carry his story πŸ’™βœŒοΈ

It’s hard to believe eight months have passed since we lost you, buddy. Some days are harder than others, and while the void is immense, our love for you only intensifies. Holding you close in our hearts today and always, until we see you again. πŸ’™ Love, Mom & Dad

Morning Bryce

In every cool breeze, I imagine you. In every bright red cardinal or beautiful, fluttering butterfly, I see you. Every creak in the house, every light knock I hear, every unexplained soundβ€”I imagine it is you, until one day, hopefully, it will be ~ Dad

Morning Bryce

Mom and I were talking today about the invisible labor of griefβ€”the kind of weight people who haven't experienced it simply can't understand. Grief isn't just sadness; it is complete physical and emotional exhaustion. Spending all day performing "normal" to keep everyone else comfortable leaves you running on absolute empty. The moment the door closes and the mask comes off, everything collapses. It’s as deeply frustrating as it is exhausting. πŸ˜ͺπŸ’™πŸ’” I miss you and love you more than life itself buddy πŸ’” πŸ˜ͺ

Morning Bryce

I stumbled across more pictures you took. I love how you saw the world. So vibrant, colorful and beautiful. You had a way of finding beauty in the simplest things, and somehow making us see them through your eyes.

The world seems so much more black and white without you in it. The colors are still there, but they just don't feel the same anymore.

I wish I could see the world the way you did again. I wish I could see what caught your eye, what made you stop and take a picture, what you thought was beautiful enough to remember.

Maybe that's why these pictures mean so much to me now. They're little pieces of the world as you saw it. Pieces of you that you left behind for us to hold onto.

Keep showing me the beauty, buddy. I promise I'll keep looking ~ Dad πŸ’™πŸ˜’πŸ’”

Morning Bryce

Your mom and I were watching the Lions on TV last night and of course we started talking about you. How much you loved football. How you'd always make a point to watch. How you'd never watch it with us, always in your room with your laptop by your side tracking the stats. How your TV was about 30 seconds quicker than ours so you'd run upstairs and say wait till you see this play, hang out to watch it with us then back to your lair. How you'd always make fun of us because we'd have a roast in the crock pot on football day.

You always loved football like me and now it's so hard to watch without you πŸ’” we love you buddy and miss you more than life itself πŸ˜’πŸ’™πŸ’”πŸˆ
