Thirteen years ago today I was moving into my freshman dorm at Columbia College Chicago, and today I’m headed back to the Windy City to attend a wedding as a guest. Life is so weird and full circle sometimes!

welcome to the world, sweet Harper!

Studio Luna has been my happy place this summer. August outdoor sessions are beautiful, but the heat is no joke - especially with a brand new baby. Inside, there’s amazing light, cool air, and a quiet calm with no distractions from the outside world. No wind, no harsh shadows, no rushing the light. Just a cozy space to settle into and a family soaking in their very first days together 🤍

a little road trip to Madison over the weekend for the sweetest couple, Danielle and Michael 🤍 Overcast skies and a quick rain shower made for some dramatic portraits at the capitol, and the clouds broke just in time for their gorgeous outdoor ceremony at Black Hawk Country Club.
