Some babies make their presence known when they’re born: crying to clear their lungs, looking around to see who’s there to meet them, and showing hunger cues, eager to latch. Others glide into the world without a peep, and fall asleep as soon as they’re safely next to a heart that carried them for ages, and held by hands that touch them for the first time in these sweet golden moments.
