There is something about watching a baby and his mother grow over the course of time that just really pulls at my heartstrings. Scroll through to see little Damon grow bigger. 😍

Your pups are part of your story too—so bring them along. 🐾 Prince Sprinkleton showed up with *all* the energy (and then some), and while it got a little crazy at times, we still captured the sweetest, most genuine moments. The difference is stark.
The first photo was me doing a newborn shoot as the photographer behind the camera. The second photo was me doing a newborn shoot as the photographer in front of the camera using a tripod and a remote clicker.
Same professional camera, same professional editing software, even the posing is pretty similar. The vibe and quality are completely different though.
It is one of the reasons why when I hand my camera over to my father in law, the photos just don't turn out right.
Trust me when I tell you that newborn photos are something you don't want to DIY or leave up to chance. You have one small window to do these photos, make sure to do it right. 🫰

When Jeanie first sent in an inquiry through my website and told me she was a referral from her sister, who I took photos for the previous year, I already knew we would have a great time. Of course we hit it off, of course we had to explore the fields and try two different types of blooms (like I did with her sister), and of course their session was full of beautiful and precious moments.

The nicest compliment you can give your photographer is in the moment. The best compliment is referring your friends and family. ❤
