They lasted exactly one frame for this bestie photo sessionšŸ˜­ The matching outfits looked great but the genuine laughter looked even better. I absolutely love capturing real, authentic, unscripted moments.

Minneapolis parks are excellent for taking best friend pictures!
These were taken in Stratford, Ontario, Canada right by the Stratford Festival Theatre.

This is a fun behind the scenes look at one of my sessions.
I used a Canon R6 and godox off camera flash, I was trying to get that old school harsh flash look.

Behind the scenes look at a pageant photo session. You can see the unedited photo, then the final pic with edits. I did color adjustments, brightened her eyes a bit, removed fly away hairs, her skin is amazing, it didnā€™t need any touch ups, just evened out the skin tone as the flash picked up extra color, and smoothed out the wrinkles in the clothing.
I usually do senior photos, prom photos, and graduation pictures, so this is also a lit of fun! Minneapolis, Minnesota pr***en pageant photo session, she did amazing!swayy

I found these rows of crab apple trees in Chanhassen, Minnesota, not too far from Minneapolis.šŸŒø Sharon looks absolutely gorgeous! You donā€™t always need a massive park if you looking for quick pictures. We went out for a morning senior photo session (best time to beat the heat and avoid the crowds!) Which one is your favorite? 1-7šŸ‘‡ The behind the scenes shows the location, just some trees near a parking lot. Perfect spot for graduation or prom pics. Class of 2026 and Class of 2027.

Being nervous for prom photos is completely normal. What Iā€™ve learned as a senior photographer is to take a few pics, see how youā€™re feeling, and then give a prompt like bump hips and walk towards me. This always turns out some fun, natural photos.

Things Iā€™m learning as a senior photographer: be very clear when you give a prompt, discuss and demonstrate if neededšŸ˜… Donā€™t be afraid to try again.
