I was recently talking to a new couple of mine & this first photo got brought up and we got to the topic of food at weddings!

Family style dinners rule! Passing dishes between your friends & families makes for great conversation and something about it feels so tender & sweet. I remember this dinner being one of the tastiest I’ve ever had at a wedding. Who would’ve thought food can also be a memorable part of a wedding!!!

Words cannot describe how wonderfully sweet this wedding weekend in Sedona was 🥹 Maddie’s smile & laugh was so contagious, she truly lit up every room she walked into. Not to mention her & Andrew’s love beaming all dang weekend!!!! ❣️ Also who knew Arizona could be this green?!

Days like this elopement with Ariella & Damien leave me feeling so thankful and grateful to be a photographer. Two people who were at first strangers quickly turned into two wonderful & kindhearted people who I felt like I’ve known for years. I got to yap with Damien’s Dad about cameras all day and bop around Chicago and see these two sweeties be in love with one another!! On days like these, collaboration & comfort are at the top of my list to keep things feeling as true as can be, and Ariella & Damien made this day easy peasy by allowing me to observe & letting me take a peek into their lives for a day.

Being a wedding photographer comes with a feeling unlike any other and I’m so eternally grateful for these two for welcoming me into their lives with so much warmth and kindness 💛

If you would’ve told me that seeing a billboard advertisement while driving on i94 would lead me to taking some of my favorite photos ever, I’d say that’s so silly!!

I’ve been itching to photograph something really colorful & step outside my comfort zone and while I was driving on the highway, I saw a billboard about a Kentucky Derby party at and got so excited. I knew this was my sign (quite literally) and a few weeks later found myself photographing a Wisconsin-Kentucky Derby Party!

Two of my favorite things to photograph are vivid colors & spontaneous moments and boy o boy did this crowd deliver!!!! Feeling so creatively fulfilled & ready for this years wedding season❣️🐴
