Back to my old stomping grounds — Staten Island, NY. 🤍

The grandkids are in town! 🤍

Early bedtimes meant an earlier-than-usual beach session….and with that came the heat, sunglasses, and limited attention spans of little ones. And that’s okay!

We came prepared with snacks, drinks, sunglasses, and a shady spot for little breaks when they needed them.

I’m a relaxed photographer. I don’t expect little kids to stand still, look at me, and smile on command. We play little games, let them move, laugh, cuddle, and just be kids.

Because somewhere in all that beautiful chaos are the real smiles, sweet connections, and little moments you’ll want to remember. 🤍

And honestly… those usually end up being my favorite photos.

Long before the sky bursts with color, there’s quiet. Waiting. Hope.

Maybe that’s the reminder we all need….that the most beautiful beginnings often happen before we can see them.

No matter what yesterday held, today is a gift. A fresh page. Another chance to love deeply, extend grace, and trust that the light will come.

The sun rises every single morning… and so does hope. 🌅

Every year, I’m reminded that time has a way of quietly moving on. Little hands grow bigger, teenagers become young adults, and parents find themselves looking back wondering where the years went.

Family photos aren’t about perfect smiles. They’re about preserving this season of your life exactly as it is…the laughter, the connections, and the love you share.

August and September bring some of my favorite evenings of the year, with soft golden light and beautiful sunsets that make the perfect backdrop for timeless memories.
