We wandered around their property while the kids showed me all their favorite things. We made a smushy kid sandwich, practiced first steps and spun dizzily on backyard swings. So many of my favorite things, always magical. ✨

Sam had originally planned for me to photograph their proposal at the gardens the weekend before but the smog was too intense forcing us to reschedule. He could't wait to put a ring on it and decided to propose just the two of them that weekend. :) I know a man in love when I see one! 💍

HEAT WAVE, HELLO. 🥵 So many beautiful weddings and family portraits in the last two weeks and BOY has it been hot, ya’ll. Been living on cold showers and ice cold cotton candy Alanis. You gotta treat yo’self.

Spent the evening with Aiden and his family celebrating his senior year with some pretty killer senior portraits. As a homeschool mom myself, photographing a homeschool senior feels extra special. 👨🏼‍🎓

Loved watching Aiden's parents beam pridefully from the sidelines. I know there were many years of love, sacrifice, faith and patience that shaped this incredible young man. What a gift to see it come to fruition!
