Seven years later, I think I am due for a new introduction. Hi there! I am Harley. I've been (intentionally and unintentionally) running Harley Simone Photography for the last seven years. I have adored all the connections and relationships I have made through this lil venture of mine, it's truly my favorite part, more than the art, or the gain, or acknowledgement. So thank you to those who invited me in to little or big snippets of their lives, it means so much.

A few things about me:
•I'm a homeschool mama of two brilliant, silly boys. And have been married to my high school sweetheart for almost 12 years.
•I've had a camera in my hands my whole life, or at least since I was 3 or 4, and have meticulously documented everything.
•Aside from photography, I am a creative/maker in all aspects from writing, to music, to painting & illustrating, to cooking, to gardening. Whatever I can do to express my heart with my hands.
•I'm a lover of whimsy, simplicity, and especially nature. Stopping to look closely at how different petals emerge, watching the snail cross the trail, smelling (and taking a taste) of the sweet honeysuckle, and taking a deep slow breath at a windy summit.
•Above all, I love Jesus and scripture. I may be a sinner, and life may be heavy, but all I am is in Him. I am wonderfully made and cared for, and so are you. 🫶

As someone who has avoided shooting weddings like the plague, and has very little experience in that realm, I genuinely had a blast and I felt my confidence grow throughout the day. Not entirely sure whether I pursue this or not, feel free to ask in the future haha. I think I might like it...

Huge thanks to on video for helping me navigate the day, the logistics, and some posing. I applaud all creatives working in the wedding biz, it's a lot, but it can be so much fun and I'm glad I got to experience that.

We are all in different seasons and some may find it difficult to have access to professional family photos, or good pictures of any kind at all. This is a way for us to bless one another. Any support at all goes straight to my family, and you get a uniquely crafted gallery by me. So whether it's for Fall, Christmas cards, new photos to print and hang in your home, gifts for loved ones, whatever it may be, this is the perfect opportunity to get your photos done.
