Seven years later, I think I am due for a new introduction. Hi there! I am Harley. I've been (intentionally and unintentionally) running Harley Simone Photography for the last seven years. I have adored all the connections and relationships I have made through this lil venture of mine, it's truly my favorite part, more than the art, or the gain, or acknowledgement. So thank you to those who invited me in to little or big snippets of their lives, it means so much.
A few things about me:
•I'm a homeschool mama of two brilliant, silly boys. And have been married to my high school sweetheart for almost 12 years.
•I've had a camera in my hands my whole life, or at least since I was 3 or 4, and have meticulously documented everything.
•Aside from photography, I am a creative/maker in all aspects from writing, to music, to painting & illustrating, to cooking, to gardening. Whatever I can do to express my heart with my hands.
•I'm a lover of whimsy, simplicity, and especially nature. Stopping to look closely at how different petals emerge, watching the snail cross the trail, smelling (and taking a taste) of the sweet honeysuckle, and taking a deep slow breath at a windy summit.
•Above all, I love Jesus and scripture. I may be a sinner, and life may be heavy, but all I am is in Him. I am wonderfully made and cared for, and so are you. 🫶
