If you call me last minute to take homecoming or prom pictures, know that I will always say yes, as long as i'm available.

A very good friend of mine asked me to snap a few pics before homecoming last night, and I am so glad she did. 😊 Getting dressed up and going to dances is the one thing that I loved most about school and wish it was more of a thing in adult life.

The frost inevitably reached us last night, ending the Dahlia season. At least this year I was able to have one last photoshoot with the remaining blooms.

Not the normal type of photos that I post on a regular basis, but I do love what fall does to our property. My husband has acquired several old vehicles and dozers over the years, which allows for unique backdrops to an otherwise ordinary yard. I have been taking a lot of photos around our property the last month or so and as I work mybway through editing, I plan to share more.

Emily & Ethan : 10/10/26 : Orchard Beach State Park

You couldn't have asked for more perfect October day for a wedding in Michigan. It warm, sunny and colorful. I have known Ethans mom for years (think 2008, Scrap To It, when we still had our scrapbook store in town), and appreciate being asked to capure this event. 🍁

I've been quite backlogged on editing my own photos this summer - here are a few of my favorites from August! I started with 13 dahlia varieties this summer, as of right now, 10 have finally bloomed, still waiting on 2, 1 never came up. I'm hoping to get blooms on the last 2 before the frost arrives.
