⛳️ Maddux’s FIRST Hole in One! ⛳️

I had so much fun custom designing this golf-themed cake smash just for Maddux! He took a little bit to warm up to everything, but once he did… he had a BLAST! 😍

That’s one of my favorite things about first birthday sessions. Every little one is different, and I love creating a set that is completely customized just for them. Whether it’s based on a favorite theme, colors you love, or an idea we dream up together, we can create something special to celebrate this HUGE milestone.

With the recent conversations surrounding AI, children and the images we share online, I’ve been thinking a lot about this as both a parent and a photographer.

I have always asked my clients for permission before sharing their images on my website or social media, and I have always respected their answer.

As a photographer, I LOVE being able to share my work. These photographs are my art. Sharing them is also one of the biggest ways future clients find me, see what I do and ultimately decide to trust me with their own family's memories. So when you give me permission to share your images, please know that I truly appreciate it. 🤍

But I also completely understand when a family chooses not to have their child's images shared online and there is absolutely no pressure to say yes. Your decision will never change the care I put into your session or the images I create for you.

Technology is changing incredibly fast, and I think it's important that we continue having conversations about what that means for the images we put online, especially when those images include our children.

At the end of the day, they are your children and your photographs, and I want you to feel comfortable with how they are shared. 🤍

There’s something so special about maternity sessions—capturing this little chapter of life before everything changes. 🤍

We photographed the first part of this beautiful maternity session at a waterfall, and for part two, we headed out to the Flint Hills. Two completely different settings, and both were absolutely gorgeous!

I love thinking about how someday their daughter will get to look through these photos and see just how loved and celebrated she was before they had even met her. She’ll get to see her mama glowing, her parents soaking in those last few weeks before becoming a family of three, and just how excited they were for her arrival. 🥹

These are so much more than pretty pictures. They’re a little piece of her story that they’ll be able to share with her someday.

Bailee | Part Two 🌼✨

I told you Part Two was going to be good!! 😍

We finished Bailee’s senior session in the dreamiest wildflower field, and then headed to a swing overlooking the pond, and I honestly don’t know how I’m supposed to pick favorites from these!

The flowers, the light, the water, and of course Bailee made everything come together perfectly. These are the kind of summer senior photos I could photograph over and over again!

I’m back!! 🎉

The kids are back in school, summer is officially over, and it’s time for me to start sharing some of the amazing sessions I’ve been working on!
