Una pequeña cascada en el Parque Natural de Las Ubiñas-La Mesa, aquí mismo en Asturias, concretamente en la Ruta Medieval del Castillo de Alesga. Un amigo y yo hicimos esta ruta hace poco. Los dos primeros kilómetros son de subida muy empinada, pero todo el recorrido es precioso.

A small cascade in the Las Ubiñas-La Mesa Nature Park, right here in Asturias, specifically along the Medieval Route of Alesga Castle. A friend and I hiked this recently. The first two kilometers are very steep up, but the entire route is beautiful.

I lived in Kansas for most of my adult life, and sunsets there are second to none. This image is rather simple, but still one of my favorites, with the sun dipping behind distant storm clouds.

Dos pequeños graneros, o quizás cabañas de pastores, se encuentran a lo largo de la Ruta Medieval del Castillo de Alesga, cerca de Teverga, en Asturias. Fue un día agotador, pero muy gratificante recorrer esta ruta, a veces exigente.

Two small barns or perhaps shepherd's huts along the Medieval Route of Alesga Castle around Teverga in Asturias. A tiring, but very rewarding, day was spent along this sometimes challenging route.
