Gabriel and Jayden have that perfect chemistry. They make each other laugh and support one another when life gets tough. They communicate and take time to do fun things together. It was such a perfect day to see them exchange wedding vows. Congratulations!

What did you do this weekend? I spent mine with two sets of clients, now friends, who I met originally for engagement photos and now both have kids! I never doubt for a moment how fortunate I am in getting to follow these families. They grow and change, life goes on, but at their core they are the same people they were when they met. And the pets are pretty amazing, too! Duke was there from the beginning and I am certain her remembers me. He is such a great friend to Brynlee., who is growing quickly so much fun!

Jared put months of planning into his surprise proposal to Kate. He scouted out locations, made several fake trips with her to throw her off, and planned a way for me to hide, but still be able to capture the moment. Kate was definitely surprised and thrilled. Congratulations, Kate and Jared!! I was so happy to be a part of the shenanigans!

Yesterday was a very big day, not just one, but TWO proposals! When Grant knew Alyssa's best friend was also going to be back in Manhattan for the big game, he knew it was the right moment to propose. Of course, Alyssa said, YES! Congratulations!!!

I am so happy for this couple! When Ryann and Dylan met at Kansas State University they knew they shared a lot in common, but it wasn't until recently they decided to make it a permanent relationship. They are managing all the intricacies of a relationship at a distance while Ryann works as a veterinarian in a different town, but they are friends and partners and realize this only makes them stronger. They share a love of animals and I can not express how fun it was to include their longhorns in our photos! What a treat! Congratulations, Ryann and Dylan! The best is yet to come!

This is another post to remind me how quickly things change! As neighbors, I watched these five boys grow up and now some of have kids of their own! It is such a delight to get to meet the extended family and catch up.
