I know wedding budgets are tight. I know you’re trying to be smart with your money. And I’m NOT saying you need to book the most expensive photographer!

BUT choosing based only on who’s cheapest and ‘doesn’t cost an arm and a leg?’ That’s how you end up spending 8 hours with someone you don’t vibe with and who turns your wedding gallery into something you don’t ever print, post, or are proud of. And let me tell you, that’s a long day 😬

Think about it: your photographer is there for EVERYTHING. Getting ready, ceremony, family photos, reception, all of it. Every moment.

If you’re not comfortable with them and you don’t actually like them as a person? Those awkward feelings WILL show up in your photos!!

So yeah, stay within your budget! But also ask yourself:
• Do I actually enjoy talking to this person?
• Do they seem to care about my love story or am I just another booking for them to cash out?
• Do I trust them to handle one of the most important day of our lives?
• Could we grab coffee and be friends?

Because the right photographer doesn’t just take good photos. They make you FEEL good while taking them!! And that’s what actually shows up in your gallery!!!!
Choose someone you connect with. Someone you’re excited to spend your day with. Someone who genuinely cares. Price matters, but it’s definitely not everything.

2025, you were SO good to me!! 🥹

This year I got to step into so many different seasons of life with the people who trusted me to capture them! From couples celebrating their engagement, to families growing and changing, to seniors closing one chapter and opening another, to wedding days filled with SOOO much love and joy!

Every single session reminded me why I do this. It’s not just about the photos (though we captured some BEAUTIFUL moments this year!) — it’s about being trusted with memories that matter. The big life moments and the quiet in-between ones too 🤍

What made 2025 incredible? YOU!!!! Getting to witness so much of YOUR lives happening! Vows that made everyone cry, families laughing together, seniors stepping into their next adventure, couples so in love it made my heart burst! I got to meet so many new people this year, and I also got to photograph returning clients through different seasons of their lives — and that? That’s the biggest honor!! Each session was a reminder that I get to preserve these moments for people to hold onto forever!

I also took a bold step and invested in a mentorship with and that couldn’t have been a better decision for me this year! She poured her wisdom, knowledge, and passion into teaching me how to more smoothly and better operate my business, and for her I am eternally grateful. Not just for the wealth of knowledge, but for the relationships gained from her mentorship!

The Lord has been SO faithful this year, and I’m overwhelmed with gratitude for this calling He’s given me! Photography isn’t just a job — it’s how I get to celebrate His greatest gifts: love, family, community, and the joy of LIFE itself! Every time I drive home from a session, I’m reminded that this is exactly what I’m meant to be doing 🥹

2026 is already lining up to be yet another great year! I have limited wedding dates available and I’m SO ready to capture whatever season of life you’re in! Whether you’re getting married, growing your family, celebrating a milestone, or just want to document this moment in time — let’s do it!!
