Apparently mini sessions are a hot topic in the photography world lately. 😂

I keep seeing photographers share why they won’t offer them, and hey, to each their own!

But me? I’ll ALWAYS offer minis.

Because I know what it’s like to be a parent. I know budgets are real, kids grow way too fast, and sometimes you just want a few beautiful photos without committing to a full session.

And after all these years of photographing families, I can tell you that some of my favorite images have come from those quick little sessions.

Do I love full sessions?
ABSOLUTELY. There’s a time and place for both.

But minis aren’t going anywhere around here. 🤎

Because at the end of the day, it’s never been about how much time we spend together. It’s about the memories we capture.

TWO sweet little cuties turning ONE! 🎂🤍

I’ve had the sweetest privilege of photographing these twins every 3 months since they were tiny babies, and now here we are celebrating their FIRST birthday with a cake smash!

Watching them grow, seeing their little personalities come to life, and capturing all these milestones along the way has been so special. 🥹

TWO babies, ONE cake, and let’s just say one was a little more excited about the cake than the other! 😂 But that’s what makes these sessions so fun.

One of my favorite parts of maternity sessions is capturing the little ones who are about to become big siblings. 🥹

They might not fully understand just how much their world is about to change, but there’s already so much love waiting for this little baby.

One more tiny human to love, one more best friend for life, and a whole new chapter for this sweet family. 🤎

A little vulnerability today. 🤎

13 years in this business, and I think sometimes people forget there’s an actual human behind the camera.

A mom of two. A business owner. Someone who overthinks, gets overwhelmed, takes things personally, and is constantly trying to balance it all.

I LOVE what I do. Truly.
But loving something doesn’t mean it’s always easy.

There are late nights, early mornings, mom guilt, self doubt, and days where I wonder how I’m going to get everything done.

And then I pick up my camera, photograph a family I’ve watched grow for years, or get a message from someone telling me how much their photos mean to them.

And I’m reminded why I started.

I’m proud of this little business I’ve built. Even on the hard days.

Just a reminder that behind every small business is a real person doing their best. 🫶🏼

To my fellow photographers and small business owners… please tell me I’m not alone in some of these feelings. 🤎

There’s just something about black and white photography. 🖤

It tells a story that color sometimes can’t.

The tiny details. The way their hands fit into yours. The little expressions, the messy hair, the genuine laughter, the quiet in-between moments.

Without color, you notice things differently.
You feel the emotion a little deeper.

Because sometimes, the simplest images tell the biggest stories.

There’s just something about a wedding day. 🤍

The nerves before walking down the aisle, the happy tears, the little glances when nobody else is looking, and all those in between moments that end up meaning the most.

I always say, I’m so much more than just your photographer on your wedding day. I’m your hype girl, your dress fixer, your tissue holder, and the one reminding you to slow down and soak it all in.

Because at the end of the day, It’s about capturing the love, the connection, and the moments you’ll want to remember 30 years from now.

And getting to be a small part of someone’s love story?
That will never get old. 🥹🤍

I can’t believe I’m heading into my last week of fall sessions! 🍂🤎

Technically, it’s still fall next week, and the colors are still hanging on, but with holiday minis right around the corner, we’re about to trade those gorgeous fall tones for a little holiday magic!

I’m soaking up every last bit of these beautiful fall colors while I can!
