✨️Senior Sunday✨️ This session is a perfect example of how one photoshoot at Epic in Verona can feel like three completely different sessions. It has everything from wildflower fields, to waterfalls, to desert rock, to willow trees, and wayyyy more. If you are worried that you missed your window of opportunity for senior photos with flowers this year, then Epic would be the perfect option for you. ✨️Senior Sunday✨️ Golden hour at Indian Lake County Park is extra magical. You absolutely can't go wrong with this location for senior photos, as it looks beautiful and different year round. During this session we were so lucky to have tons of wildflowers and glowy light.

Hello! I thought it was about time for some updated self portraits considering my look has changed a bit. I’ve chopped off a foot of hair, I now wear glasses, and I got two new tattoos. Plus, I actually wore a decent outfit to a photoshoot and had a little sunlight left over at the end of the session, so it seemed like the perfect opportunity.

If you’re a newer follower, my name is Danielle (Danny) Dragan. I’m the owner and photographer behind Little Dragan Photography. If you’re wondering why Dragan is misspelled in my business name, it’s because it’s the last name I was born with! I’m also 5’1”, so “Little Dragan” is a nickname that several people have given me over the years.

Some other random tidbits of information about me… I am a huge animal lover and have been a pescatarian for 10 years. I spend as much time as possible with my husband and our 5 year old son. I love being outside, whether that’s at the beach or hiking in the mountains. I love to read and I’m a gamer, so I would love to talk about your favorite books or video games during your session.

I got my first DSLR camera in 2017, started my first official photoshoots in 2019, and then left my job in 2024 to pursue photography full time. I have done a lot of different genres of portrait photography over the years, but documenting high school seniors has become my favorite niche. I love being able to take my time finding the most beautiful spots in any given location. I also love working one on one with my clients to help fulfill their vision for their senior photos and building their self confidence.

I’m in the mood to do some fun, creative senior sessions! If you partake in any of these hobbies or are interested in any of these themes, I will give you 50% off of a Standard Senior Session. That would bring your session to only $340! In the next few slides, I will go over the ideas I have.

Qualifications: You must be okay with me using the images for social media, marketing, and my website. You will need to pay a $200 nonrefundable deposit to book and sign a contract. The remaining $180 will be due on the date of the session. The photoshoot must be booked for no later than October 20th.

I will only book one session per theme - first come first served! You must be willing to let me have creative control over the session. I will mainly be giving you outfit inspiration and location ideas that fit the vibe we are going for. Each of these will require some extra communication between us to ensure we are fitting the vibe. During the session, I will make sure to take some “normal” photos of you as well. That way not all of your senior photos are only following a specific theme.

Lastly, you do NOT need to be a model to partake in this! Anyone is welcome to fill one of these sessions. I just want to fulfill some creative visions I’ve been having!

I never posted about UW Madison's Class of 2026 grads, so here's just some of the wonderful people I met this April and May! It's always great to meet the graduates and hear their exciting plans for the future. I love to hear about some of their favorite memories from their time on campus and we even created some new ones during these photoshoots! Some highlights for me included taking photos for an entire family of grads, almost getting attacked by a duck, and navigating through literal clouds of bugs!

Every senior session with me is custom tailored to what you want. This senior enjoyed the beautiful scenery and fall colors on UW Madison's campus. Last year, October was my busiest month, so make sure to schedule ahead of time if you want peak fall colors!

When I first started my photography journey, I was afraid to use direct sunlight in my portaits. Over the years, however, I realized that it's nothing to be afraid of. I have started implementing some direct sunlight into my senior galleries when the conditions are right, and I love it! One thing it does is to create super vibrant and colorful photos. The sky will be blue and flowers will pop. I don't do my entire session in direct sunlight, but it has been fun to experiment with a different method for lighting my portraits, plus it creates a wonderful bit of variety in my final galleries!

Seniors - The time of year matters when you book your senior session if you're looking for a particular vibe or scenery for your photos. Swipe through to see examples from each of the upcoming months. Don't forget to book your session ahead of time so that you don't miss out on look you want! And remember, many schools have yearbook photo deadlines starting in October! So make sure you have enough time to do your session before yearbook pictures are due. My editing time is about 3 weeks, but I always send fully edited sneak peeks within 48 hours that you can use for yearbooks as well.

In July, it is fully summertime. Expect your photos to have lots of green. We can often find beautiful wildflower fields in yellow, purple, or white. Many places will also have colorful landscaping with a variety of flowers. Sessions in July will start later, since the days are long and the sun sets around 8:30.

In August, there will still be a lot of green. Some areas may have started to dry out. It's usually easy to find big yellow wildflower fields. Sessions will still occur in the evening but are starting to get earlier.

In September, things have really started to dry out by the end of the month. You can still find green in plenty of places, however. Many wildflowers have dried up, but if you know where to look you can find them. I love implementing some fall colors if I can find those as well. Sessions will now be around dinnertime as the sun continues to set earlier.

In October, you will find peak fall foliage, particularly toward the middle of the month, however it can vary year to year. You may still find flowers in gardens or landscaped areas, however most wildflowers will be gone. The focus will be on finding the brightest trees for the backdrop. Sessions in fall start to get a lot earlier as the days get shorter.

This session was not only a beautiful way to commemorate her passion for soccer, but to create some memorial images for her father. I'm always honored when people put their trust in me to capture important moments like these. It's why I do what I do.

That's a wrap on tulip season 2026! 🌷 Thank you SO MUCH to everyone that participated in my mini sessions this year! This is only a SMALL fraction of all the photos I took over two weekends. I met so many amazing people from all over Wisconsin and loved spending my days outdoors surrounded by the tulips.

The biggest thank you has to go out to Four Acres Flowers for hosting this event. Erin and Carlos poured so much time and energy into their farm and are so kind hearted and welcoming. I am so thankful to them for inviting me into their space and can't wait to work with them again next year!

It was a hectic weekend with moving everyone's sessions due to the flowers blooming early. I am so thankful to all my amazing clients who were flexible and understanding with their schedules. My 5 year old son even came with me one day and assisted me. Thank you to the lucky clients who were welcoming to my son and laughed at all his silly faces. 😆 He has been talking about being my photography assistant for a couple years, so seeing him in action made those sessions extra special.

In fact, scroll all the way to the end to see two bonus photos that he took on one of my old digital cameras. He fully directed my husband and I in what to do. 😊
