I am offering a Pay What You Can for family photographs in the month of April.

Why: because I want to photograph people who want to be photographed by me and take the pressure of money out of it. I want to go back to the root of my work - the love for capturing moments.
Because I understand that times are tough and budgets can be tight, I know folks are having a hard time making ends meet and I also know that you deserve to get your family documented if you want to get your family documented. If you connect with my work then I want to work with you. I have been photographing moments for other people for 20 years, and I love what I do but oftentimes the money can feel like the pull to do this instead of my love for capturing moments. So I will be offering Pay What You Can for the month of April. If you are interested, please send me an inquiry on my website and put in the description that you are looking to book a Pay What You Can in April and I will send you a questionnaire in the next few weeks that will need to be filled out before we move forward.

Last summer I got to drive down to see and her family and take their photos and it was just amazing. I met Chrissy at an workshop on 2019 and we have stayed connected, she documented in family in law in Florida in 2021 so I was so happy I got to capture her family in their home. It was wonderful to spend the afternoon with them and I learned I loved documenting teenagers. So grateful for my job and the people I meet and get to photograph.

With my schedule changing after I had our son, I had to adjust how I spent my work hours and one thing that stopped was updating my blog and really just posting my work. I felt that it was most important to get the images to my clients and I also felt overwhelmed by the inquiries filling my inbox that I felt alright with posting less. However, I loved sharing my work and I love the work I get to do so I am slowly trying to bring back my blog now that our kiddo is in 3K a few mornings a week.

Today (what I use to call Wedding Wednesday on my blog) I share a wedding from Last October - Nina and Sullivan in Nina's hometown of Racine. The day started in her childhood home and ended in the basement of her families church. This day was filled with Armenian wedding traditions and it was such a beautiful day to be apart of.
