For over a decade, I disappeared into the shadows of Tel-Aviv’s red-light district with a camera, documenting lives shaped by trafficking, addiction, survival, hope, and the search for redemption.

What started as their crusade slowly became my own.

As I followed the lives of four people struggling to break free from the realities that imprisoned them, I began confronting my own invisible “ghettos”, which we all inherit:
fear, judgment, shame, survival, limiting beliefs, and the stories we are taught about who we are allowed to become.

Since its World Premiere in New York with Dances WIth Films festival, 'Holy Ghetto' has continued its festival journey, and I’m honored that the film will now screen in Los Angeles at the legendary TCL Chinese Theatre as part of the Dances With Films Festival.

This film changed me while making it.
