Throwing it back to a portrait and branding session I had with Leigh Cambre for his Flashes of Brilliance business in NYC.
Out of many of the photos taken, this has to be my absolute favorite. To me, a lot is happening here. You've got the busyness of the city street in the background and the colors popping with the texture of the buildings along the side as well. Life is happening!
I opted for a lower angle here to accentuate the big city life that is living in NYC, but most importantly to give Leigh a position of humble power. He didn't need to be looking straight down the barrel of my lens to communicate the thought-provoking image.
Personally, I think with his expression, stance, and eye-line, this image represents being happy and content with Leigh's current outlook on life. But, in looking outward, to the city around him, he has the goal of continuing to expand and move forward. He nailed it.
What a pleasure it was working with Leigh! I can also recommend him for anyone who is searching for a small business coach. You can be anywhere in the world and he can still make a positive impact.
