One of the biggest fears actors have before a headshot session is:
“I don’t know how to pose.”

And I get it. Being in front of the camera can feel strange, especially when you’re trying to look natural, connected, and like yourself all at the same time.

But here’s the thing: you don’t need to arrive knowing a list of poses.

In fact, trying to pose yourself the whole time can make the session harder.

When your brain is busy managing your body - shoulders, chin, hands, posture - your face can stop changing. The expression stays in one place. And in a headshot, that connection matters more than any “interesting” pose.

That’s why direction matters.

Tiny adjustments can make a huge difference: how your shoulders settle, when to hold still, when to breathe, when to soften, when to let the moment happen.

You don’t have to figure all of that out alone.
Come as you are. I’ll guide the small things so you can stay present.
