3. Your signature scents
4. Something personal and specific (like Bear’s cocktail napkin. Always bonus points if it’s dog related!!)
5. Jewelry or heirlooms (pearls, coins, grandma’s bracelet)

Bridget and Eric have known each other since preschool. PRESCHOOL. They grew up, life happened, and then somehow the universe went and brought them back to each other. I can’t.

We spent a golden hour evening wandering around Hurley Gardens in Wheaton and it really felt less like a shoot and more like hanging out with two people who are just really, really happy. The laughing was constant and the ease between them was the kind you can’t manufacture. July cannot come fast enough.

Bridget and Eric, I’m so glad you found your way back to each other. And I’m so glad I get to be there for what comes next.

I’m convinced you can tell a lot about a couple by their bouquet(s). Much like the weddings themselves, every single one is completely different. Moody and dramatic, soft and wild, bright and chaotic (in the best way). The details make the day ❤️

Nobody wants to show up to their session and stand there like two people waiting for the bus. So I give prompts, and then the photos basically take themselves.

I have been doing this long enough to know that your wedding day is going to fly by in a way that genuinely shocks you. Like blink and it’s cocktail hour shocks you. So I take the time thing very seriously! Every single choice I make is about making sure you actually get to be present for your own day and walk away with photos that prove it ♥️

Happy International Family Day to every chaotic, wonderful, perfectly imperfect family out there (yes that includes your dog, obviously, we’ve been over this).

Families look a lot of different ways and every single one of them deserves to be documented. Every year families let me into this chapter of their lives and it is a wildly delightful honor every single time.
