Did you know that 1 in 5 pregnancies end in miscarriages? My AnaSofia was a rainbow baby after we lost our first. It's always an honor to photograph your rainbow babies in my Lombard studio. As a newborn photographer, it's always a delight when babies sleep through the session. However, honestly, not all sessions are like this. I've learned some tricks along the way that help relax the baby and eventually get them into a sleepy doze.

Happy Monday! I love it when cake smashes have so much movement and activity. To say this baby loved her session is an understatement. The cake was definitely smashed!

I absolutely love this image. It's simple, it's elegant, and it's on brand. White is a struggle for many photographers, and although I haven't perfected it, I'm pretty happy with where mine is at.

Cake smashes don't always have to include an elaborate setting, after all, what really matters is them 🤍

Did you know that most sibling shots are done as composites? To safely pose baby and have the brother nearby, I almost always do two or more separate shots and combine them into one. Is it cheating? Maybe. But is it safer? 1000%
