I don’t take photos often… I’m usually behind the camera capturing everything in motion. 🎥 But every once in a while, there’s a moment that just deserves to be frozen in time. 🤍

At the last Flight Line Dressage show at Miramonte, a few of those moments caught my eye.

Because behind so many rides are the people standing ringside; holding horses, carrying bags, calming nerves, cheering you on, and simply showing up. Husbands, moms, trainers, friends, family… the support system behind the rider deserves to be part of the story, too.

Sometimes the moments outside the arena are just as special as the ones inside it. 🐴✨

Spots, smiles and a whole lot of heart at Pony Finals! 🐾❤️

The annual Pony Finals Golf Cart Parade brought out some serious creativity this year, and this crew absolutely understood the assignment with their 101 Dalmatians theme. Dalmatians, Cruella, dog catchers and one very decked-out golf cart took over the Kentucky Horse Park. 🐶🖤🤍

But the best part was the meaning behind all those spots.

The theme became “101 Donations for Danny & Ron’s Rescue”, with a goal of collecting 101 donations for dogs in need. And they did it… 101 DONATIONS! 🎉🐾

Danny & Ron’s Rescue has been helping vulnerable dogs since 2005, rescuing dogs from shelters, puppy mills, abandonment and other heartbreaking situations while helping them find the safe, loving homes they deserve. ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who donated, decorated, dressed up, walked in the parade and cheered them on, and to the farms and teams who helped bring it all together:

Pony Finals may be about some pretty incredible ponies, but moments like this show just how special the community surrounding them is. Kids, moms, trainers, families and barns coming together to turn a fun Pony Finals tradition into something that can make a difference far beyond the show ring.

101 Dalmatians. 101 Donations. Countless dogs given a little more hope. ❤️🐾
