Ashley & Jeff

A few weeks ago, Ashley and Jeff were married at Union University, where they met and work. This place is special to them, and it was so lovely to see them commit their lives to one another there under the bell tower. I have known Ashley for 20+ years at this point, and she's always had the most calming presence. She is one of those people that you cannot help but like! And she found a perfect match in Jeffrey. They fit together so perfectly! Ashley has overcome a lot of challenges, and I was just so overjoyed to celebrate her love on this day 💞

Yesterday, I had the incredible honor of photographing my friends' wedding, and it was more magical than I could have imagined. Seeing Rob and Courtney laugh and smile together all day while surrounded by their favorite people was such a joy.

I wish I was better with words so I could eloquently tell you how special these two are, not just to each other, but to each person who loves them. I have so many fond memories with Courtney over the years since college, particularly from our tennis girly days. They had their wedding at Courtney's parents' home in Gallatin. She spent so much of her life on this property, it was only appropriate that she step into this next chapter of life here. It was beautiful and symbolic and perfect 🥹

Today is the day to celebrate Courtney and Rob! Since I had my camera with me anyway, I grabbed a few photos at their rehearsal dinner last night, and it was the sweetest evening 🥹 I love these two humans, and I'm so thankful they found their way to each other ✨

Now let's get you MARRIED!

Yesterday was a wonderful day of celebration for Bennett and Reese! These two said "I do" at the gorgeous Caldwell Chapel with the reception at the Caldwell Inn. I even got to ride the trolley with them in between 🥰

Yesterday was such a perfect day!! I'll do a bigger post with a full preview soon, but I just had to share one to officially congratulate the Snows!!

This one was so special to me. Ashley and I played high school soccer together, and we were both teacher's kids so of course we bonded. She went on to become a pharmacist and teach at Union, where she met Jeffrey. Thanks to some very persistent friends (fairy godmother, Bethany!), they ended up dating and falling in love 🥰 It was such a joy to witness the beginning of their marriage yesterday on the Great Lawn at Union!

As you can tell from this shot of them with their guests after the bubble exit, they are very loved!

The Jones family did my tree farm mini sessions back in November, and we took a baby announcement photo then. Fast forward to this spring, and we met up again for some maternity photos! Aren't they just the most precious family?!

Baby Moody number 2 is already over a month old, but I still wanted to share some of my favorites from Lauren's maternity session! I was glad we were able to get these done a few days before he made his arrival 🥰

Lauren's vibrant red dress was perfect to add a pop of color in the dull winter landscape 💃

Late last year, I did my annual session with the Schwimers! They always do these fun balloon photos with the kids and add a new balloon each year. With winter birthdays, the landscape isn't always the prettiest, but we ended up with a gorgeous, sunny day this year!

We took some family photos after we were done with the balloons and enjoyed that golden hour 🤩☀

Had another great session with the Taylor family towards the end of last year! It was unfortunately pretty cold that day, and you can tell the wind was not on our side 😅 Despite that, we had a fun session and managed to come away with some nice photos of this wonderful family.
