I literally cannot explain how lucky I’ve felt being able to get in close with these horse girlies and how it’s truly rewired something in me. It feels like I’m home 💕

Sending all my love to Stefani + Eddy as Griff’s window of time on this earth comes to a close 🖤

Stefani was one of the first “dogstagram” accounts I followed when I started my own dog account for Lars. We shared having a giant breed, being in Indiana, and a love for the outdoors with our dogs. After she added Meadow, her Newfoundland, to the group, we talked more and I joined in for area group meetups where several of us with big dogs met up to hike and chat.

When he got diagnosed with bone cancer, I knew I needed to provide an opportunity for Stefani, a fellow photographer, to get on the other side of the camera. We met at one of their favorite spots to let the dogs run off leash and burn off energy. Griff was happy for sunshine, kisses, back scratches, and treats (though catching them was not on the agenda, apparently 😂)

The DuneGiants pack has increased in number over the years, but Griff has always remained the star of the show; the original dog giant. His absence will leave one very big hole in our hearts 🖤

Happy Tuesday!

I’m working to catch up my editing queue and admin things today, as well as catch up some stuff around the house before a crazy few work days. I do want to say that my flower field minis were postponed so if you would still like a chance to get out there, send me a message!

Come with me out to the flower fields at Beasley's Orchard and get some updated photos! If you’ve never been to Beasley’s, you’re missing out! There is lots to do and see, buy, and taste and is a great little trip for the whole family.

Good morning!!

I thought I’d finally start showing off my horsey summer and we’ll start with Rory Scout and her girls! I grew up with spotted horses so I was immediately drawn to their looks but all three couldn’t have been sweeter and more welcoming of a stranger with a weird black orb in their face. Baby Daisy was especially curious and even tried to bite it at one point. But that’s all just good socializing ☺️

Some phone photos from last night 🎆

We got the opportunity to watch fireworks in the coastal island region of Massachusetts and it was absolutely wild. Fireworks being set off every 50 yards or so all the way down the beach and along the coasts of the islands. Fireworks as far as the eye could see, including right in front of us. The photos don’t do it justice but it was truly a sight I won’t forget!
