It's been a minute but 2021 already has me behind my camera more and that's good for so many reasons.....one being this one. Creating with creatives never gets old and I always love the clothing designs he creates, too. Talk about talent!

One of the best parts of this collaboration with local boutique Lesley Jane in Zionsville is finding the perfect location for the outfit! I see the outfits that morning and....off we go!!!!

Another great part is that I get to work with some incredibly talented people....Lesley is an inspirational entrepreneur and I love her clothes, styling is done by Laura over at The Style Riot and the models are always on point with their poses ... plus it's fun getting to know them.

Me...on a Saturday night in January....

I've been thinking of ways to answer some of the "How to's" I get asked about creating images in a better and more fun way....so my question is this:

If I build it will you come?

Would you want to learn so much about photography or just have exclusive BTS of what goes into the images I create because you want to be in the "Cool Kids Club" (with clients and self portraits) enough to be a part of a membership for a small monthly fee?

Senior photo shoot. Something different. That's how I roll.

This girl rocked her photo shoot....we did some and shots....then the lack of light and art blurred into one. Then we ordered Thai food.

Street vibe. Switching it up a bit...this afternoon I taught a creative photography workshop then had a senior photo shoot tonight, so all in all it was a very good day.

Not all senior pictures have to look alike. I encourage them to express themselves freely and tell me about their vibe. We talk about clothes and locations but the day of....we just shoot and have fun. Need trash bins and dumpsters? Need iron staircases and brick walls? We'll find them and set the mood.

No or ... unless they want to.
