Olivia + Danny's wedding day took place at Gideon Owen Wine Co, surrounded by families and friends who were genuinely kind and welcoming in a way you don't forget.

The ceremony was intimate and personal, officiated by Olivia's dad. Simple, emotional, and focused on what mattered most. Faith and prayer were woven quietly through the day.

From New Jersey, Virginia, and North Carolina, everyone came together in a place that already holds meaning for them. Just down the road, Danny's grandfather's lake house has been part of their story for years, quietly woven into the weekend.

We followed the weather all day, shifting in and out of raindrops (as Mother Nature clearly couldn't make up her mind!)

They were just so cute together. Olivia was effortlessly beautiful in the simplest way, and she brought so much energy to the day, while Danny had a steady presence that seemed to keep everything grounded. Watching them together, it was easy to see how well they complement each other.

To Olivia + Danny and their sweet families: Thank you for trusting me with this chapter of your love story. It was an honor to witness it. ❤️

Last night I spent the evening with Cassie and Avery, whose journey I've had the honor of documenting through the years. From senior portraits to engagement photos, a wedding day, maternity, newborn, and now family portraits with their darling little girl.

One season you're photographing two people excited about their future together. Before you know it, they're chasing a curly-haired darling toddler through the grass while grandparents look on with proud smiles.

What an incredible gift it is to watch a love story unfold chapter by chapter. ❤️

WHAT EXACTLY IS A FLAT LAY ANYWAY???

It is: Before the first look, the walk down the aisle; before the vows, the happy tears, and the first dance.

❤ The LOVE STORY begins here ❤

You may just see a collection of beautiful things. An invitation, rings, flowers, jewelry, ribbons, but a flat lay is so much more than a photograph of wedding details.

It's a visual prologue to the wedding day.

Every piece was chosen by Olivia and Danny. The invitation that welcomed their favorite people. The rings they'll wear every day. The colors, textures, and little details that helped tell the story of who they are together.

This is one of my favorite parts of a wedding day because it's where I get to be the most creative. I gather all the pieces of the day and create a little "mood board" of what's about to unfold.

(What you don't see is me crawling around on the floor, moving things a quarter inch at a time, chasing the best window light, and sweating over whether a ribbon should go left or right. 😂 I am almost always convinced that if someone walked in and watched me work, they'd wonder if I'd completely lost my mind....*why is the photographer laying on the floor....is she alright....? )

But when it all comes together, it becomes more than a photograph.

It becomes the opening page of Olivia and Danny's Love Story. ❤️

In the middle of a rainy wedding day, we caught the sweetest little window to sneak outside for portraits at the beautiful Gideon Owen Wine Company… and it was SO worth it.

These two came all the way from New Jersey and North Carolina to celebrate with family and friends, and their entire day was filled with so much love, joy, and excitement.

❤️ Last night we headed over to Gideon Owens for a mini engagement session with Liv & Danny before their wedding on Saturday. They came all the way from New Jersey, so tonight was actually our first time meeting them in person, and they were SO much fun. Full of energy, easy to photograph, and completely excited to marry each other... which always makes our job easy!

Now we’re just praying for a little weather miracle for Saturday! Anyone willing to send up a prayer for sunshine, we’ll take it!! 😊
