Such a fun part of photographing seniors is infusing their interests into the session. I’ve done dogs and butterflies and horses and team gear and dance shoes but this session with Zach marked my first time to photograph …robots! Thank goodness we got this session in before the rain started since I hear robots and water don’t mix. 🤖

What a great morning with DJ! I try not to ask my seniors too much about their future plans, especially at the beginning of the school year, but DJ rolled in with a life plan that was laid out like a well-designed map. He’s already running a business of his own, playing high-level lacrosse, and investing his earnings in his free time. Talk about impressive! Not to mention, personable and kind. Happy senior year DJ!

Wesley’s mom reminded at the start of our session that I had photographed her in middle school, and that set the joyful tone for this session. It was so fun for me to photograph her again and see that she has created a loving family of her own, just like the one she was born into. I’m looking forward to even more second generation ECP babies in the coming years!
