When you arrive at the beach for a sunrise session, you never quite know what Mother Nature has in store.
On this particular morning. The clouds were positioned in the most perfect way, allowing for the bright morning sunrise light to shine through underneath and reflect on the water. As the sun rose, the colors changed. I was so thankful this sweet family went with the flow and had the best time on the beach while I got to play with the light. ✨🤩

Ben - Class of 2027 🎓🎉

He is such a kind and down-to-earth person and even though a senior session wasn’t on his summer bucket list 🤣, he went with the flow and was so wonderful to work with.
Not only that, but he played his guitar for a few shots - I wish I recorded him to share with you all. So talented! Instead, I used a song by the Grateful Dead - his favorite band. 🙌

Cashing in their Christmas gift!
Ohio State University plays a big role in their family, so they honored that by wearing shades of scarlet and gray. It was perfect!

Extended family sessions are always a bit tricky to schedule. Finding a common open date on everyone’s calendar (including Mother Nature’s) takes some planning. I was so thankful we were able to fit this in before one of the families made their big move to Paris and the before the older grandkids all left for college. However, a little league rescheduled tournament game crept in. That family came at the end and managed to jump in a few! Being flexible and making it work was really all that mattered because having these photos of everyone together is always worth the moments of chaos. 🥰
