Did you know League Park holds histories secrets? League Park, where Babe Ruth hit his 500th home run and the 1920's world series was held; is our baseball Heritage Museum. League park works to preserve the history of baseball and is inclusive to everyone even our baseball DJs who announced the games.
Assistant Curator Ricardo Rodriguez opened the doors to let me have a peep of what was in the closed off level and while it had neat baseball artifacts it also held the fantastic emblems of radio history from Jim Davison's collection. Mr. Rodriguez has helped to preserve and keep safe these fantastic artifacts and is excited to open the Radio Heritage Museum and learn about radio.
This Museum will be opening soon, but here are some behind the scene photos of this historical move from heritage baseball to heritage radio.

Bon Jovi's fantastic exhibit is coming to a close on February 8th. That makes this the final week to stop in and visit their exhibit that features Bon Jovi's history and impact they have made from simple day to day activities to captivating huge audiences. The Music Box Supper Club is located on the historic West Bank of the Flats, and gives venue to many local artists and events. With stunning views, a beautiful deck, and fantastic staff the unforgettable ambiance has hosted many fantastic nights. Last Sunday was such a night, when the RockGodz Hall of Fame was in town with Cindy Landeen.
The RockGodz Hall of Fame was started in 2009 by Cindy Landeen and Steve Rosen. At RockGodz "Our mission is to acknowledge the contributions of a group of stunningly gifted musicians and professionals who flew under the radar while delivering tot the world music that has orchestrated the soundtrack of many lives."-Cindy Landeen. RockGodz Hall of Fame is a nonprofit.
This year special honors went out to our beloved Jane Scott who is deeply missed. John Gorman, Rich Spina, Roger Abramson, Tommy Rich, LoConti, Jennifer Lee, Fred Fister, Susie Fister, Darin Favorite, Kirk Yano, and Paul Sidoti.
Look to the House of Blues to see upcoming performances with Paul Sidoti and LaConti, and remember; going to local shows and venues is an important way to give support to our local artist community.

Tomorrows going to be a great day at 107.7 WOBL Country, thats 1320 on the AM dial. Jim Davison is going to joining DJ Gary Tollett engineering for the afternoon radio show Anthems and Outlaws.
Jim Davison has been in radio since the 1970s when he had his first engineering experience on WBTC where he broadcasted live from the Tuscarawrus county fairgrounds on September 1st. Jim was positioned in the stations van using a 4 pot mixer with 2 tables he waited for his cues in the hot van while DJ Sunny Skidmore talked to Dolly Parton and let Jim Know when to play songs or take calls that were wired in on a marti.
in the broadcast, Jim will be playing similar songs from Dolly Parton, Hank Williams, The Oakridge Boys, Tanya Tucker, and maybe even a couple vintage Christmas Carols to help fill our ears with Christmas cheer. You'll also hear the voice of Bill Ward as his liners are in the hot keys. Requests are welcome, and can be called in 440-775-1320.

The 10,000 Watts of Holy Light Fund is a foundation started by Cleveland's own, singer and songwriter, Michael Stanleys daughters. They have paired with The Cleveland foundation and are making contributions to The Gathering place, and Cleveland Rocks: Past, Present, and Future.
I recently attended a benefit celebrating Michael Stanley at the Beachland Ballroom with studio engineer Jim Davison. The event was hosted by WNCX on air personality Paula Balish. In attendance and featured in the pics are Tommy Dobeck, Ed Caner, Gary Markasky, Mark Lee Shannon, Jackie Popovek, Michael Gismondi, Michael Weber, Paul Christianson, Eric (ERock) Sosinski, Rodney Psyka. From the Cruises, Mark Avsec. Jet and Donna from the Lipstick, Frank Amato from Beau Coup. Jay Wallace, Dreadlock Dave, Dianna Adams, Jimmy Clark and Michael Tyler, Jimmy Fox and Dale Peters of the James Gang. Of the Raspberries Jim Bonfanti, Billy Sullivan,Daffy Dan, Janet Macoska, directed by Tommy Rich, Rich Spina, and a few others were in attendance. The Cleveland Guardians are in a very close race to the AL Central title and are beginning the final weekend of the season against the Texas Rangers. After a series win against Detroit, The Guardians hold a one game lead and the tie breaker. Will we win the games? Time will tell, but one thing I know is everyone wants to go to the game right now!
Lets all root for the Guardians and make lots of noise at to nights' game!
