A few objects photographed at the museum and altered to play around with colors and borders for possible future framing. Statues carved out of marble like the first few photos, a marble piece depicting a woman called "Stargazer" carved around 3000 BC, Tiffany lamps, Rodins "The Thinker", and various wall mounted stone sculptors photographed using a posterizing editing effect. Just for fun.

A few trips to the annual Orchid Display at the Botanical Gardens offered an opportunity to practice with the camera and various prime lenses using natural light and flash units capturing the natural beauty of this type of flower.

My second trip to the annual Orchid exhibit at the Cleveland Botanical Gardens. I usually go to the show a couple of days experimenting with different camera settings, lenses and flash use or not . This trip I used a Nikon 70-300mm lens and tried a number of bounce flash techniques. All the photos taken on this trip and the visit last week are uploaded on my web site at www.brucerusin.smugmug.com and can easily be downloaded from that site. the photos I publish are smaller sized files. anyone requiring the original large files for enlargements can contact me and I would be glad to email you the larger size file.
