This one is for the moms out there whose babies will be graduating HIGH SCHOOL next year 😭

I'm sure it feels like the time has flown by, like yesterday you were holding your new baby in your arms and today they're getting ready to leave the nest and embark on this next chapter of their lives.

You have one more year together with them at home. This is such a special time to enjoy being with them and capture your family as it is, one last time.

Last week, our fire alarm went off in the middle of the night. Immediately, my husband and I woke up, rushed to check on our kids upstairs, and checked that all was well in the house. It was a false alarm – the sensor upstairs had detached from the ceiling and was dangling down. We climbed back in bed, grateful that it was nothing to worry about (and hoping it would not go off again in the middle of the night!).

After I got back in bed, I lay awake thinking about what I would have done had there actually been a fire. How would I react? Would I remain calm, or be stunned into inaction? What would matter most to me in a moment where I might lose everything?

I've been a little MIA lately - I was on vacation in London (amazing!) and keeping busy with many photoshoots this summer.

I get asked a lot how much it costs to do a photoshoot with me. While that question is super important, there are also other questions you should ask yourself (and your photographer) when determining who is the right fit for the photoshoot you have in mind.
