So crazy story.
A & B wanted a double date day and their maternity pics done. We spent the early afternoon in Asheville eating bodega subs, coffee and pastries from oldeuropepastries and enjoying eachothers company.
It was finally time for pictures which we decided on a little flower field a little north of Asheville. As soon as we stepped out of the car....dun dun dunnnnnnn! Thunder and lightening, then the downpour.
We drove to a different location not far away because it looked clear and the storms were scattered all over.
We waited, it never let up. We decided to drive through Blue ridge to see if we could just stop at random locations. The storms followed us all along blue ridge.
We decided to take a chance and drive home but to stop when we found a nice spot. We landed on Judd's Peak in Saluda, but realized the pictures online were at a different location we passed on the way up.
So lo and behold, a random side of the road field was perfect! We may have not been any frolicking due to the risk of ticks and snakes, but 3 hours later, we finally got there!

What a whirlwind of a day!

I absolutely had to start the first day of July with G&S Elopement at McGill Rose Garden Events
Such intimate love and warmth. It was splendid and spectacular.

I always love when couples are open to me trying new camera gear while during their sessions.

I ordered Retropia Disposable Film Camera Lens for a wedding and it didnt arrive in time (big sad) but it came just in time for M & J's engagement sesh and I am obsessed!
I cant wait to utilize this lens more and more within my galleries, even if it is just a handful at a time.

All-in-all, get the Retropia Lens. It's so much fun to use!

I love the parts of the wedding day when I get to document all the emotions and love from a distance...giving a little break so you don't feel like theres a camera in your face the entire time.
Allowing the natural to happen during a wedding day is always one of my favorites in a gallery.
