A little life update 🤍

I’ve shared a few things here and there, but I haven’t been very active on social media lately, and I wanted to share why. Over the past few months, Emmett has been dealing with absence seizures that have recently escalated, and it’s been a really hard season for our family. During this time he has been homebound from school.

Right now, we’re focused on helping him get things back under control and taking it one day at a time. We saw his neurologist yesterday and we have a plan for the next few days to get things under control. The good news (and something we’re holding onto) is that absence seizures do not cause brain damage.

To my couples and vendor friends—thank you for your patience with me. I know I’ve been slower to respond at times and may have dropped the ball, and I’m truly sorry. Life has felt really heavy, and I’m doing my best to balance showing up for my clients while also being present for my family.

Thank you for the grace, the kindness, and the prayers. They truly mean so much 🤍

I don’t say it enough, but wow… I feel so blessed.

This weekend was full in the best way — an engagement session and two weddings, and I got to be part of two amazing vendor teams. Like… what is this life??

I’ll never get over the fact that this is what I get to do. Showing up for some of the most important, emotional, joy-filled days in people’s lives and getting to capture it all… it’s just really special.

Grateful for every couple who trusts me, and for the people I get to work alongside who make these days so dang fun.

My heart (and camera roll) is very full!

Let me introduce you to Mr. & Mrs. Duncan 🤍

Yesterday was one of those days that just felt special from the very beginning. The kind where everything slows down a little, the laughter comes easy, and you can tell, this is a day they’ll carry with them forever.

From the quiet, in-between moments to the full-on celebration, every part of their day reflected who they are and the life they’re building together. So much joy. So much intention. And so much love surrounding them.

Casey & Caleb’s wedding day is finally here and I don’t think I could be more excited!

There’s something so special about getting to witness a love story from behind the lens and today, we get to celebrate the beginning of theirs in the most beautiful way. The anticipation, the joy, the quiet moments, the big ones… all of it matters, and all of it is worth remembering.

I have been holding onto this secret since August and I finally get to say it out loud.

My sister was growing a whole baby while I was out here pretending to be normal, taking photos, and not spilling the biggest news ever.

Watching her step into motherhood has been the sweetest, most full-circle kind of joy. There is something so special about seeing your sister become a mom.

Baby is here, healthy, and already so loved—and I can finally share these beautiful moments we captured way back when.

Worth the wait? Absolutely. Keeping the secret? The hardest thing ever.

Easter just reminds me how blessed I am. Things don’t always go the way we plan, but I have a Savior who paid it all, a family I love, and the chance to be a light for Christ on wedding days. Showing up with love, praying over my couples and their marriages, and bringing a little peace to such a big day.

Going into this wedding season with a really full heart! I’m so excited to meet new people and celebrate so many beautiful stories over the next eight weeks!

Something I always carry into a season like this is prayer for my couples. Life doesn’t pause just because a wedding is on the calendar, and I never take for granted to trust people place in me to step into such a meaningful moments.

My goal this season is simple: to show up fully, serve my couple couples well, and celebrate the joy that each wedding day brings. I can’t wait to see what these next few weeks hold! 🤍

Missing warm air, golden light, and not checking the weather every five minutes. These Mexico wedding days are really testing me during this snowstorm. Take me back to salty breezes, please and thank you. 🌴✨
