Come with me to photograph the most adventurous proposal I’ve ever been a part of 😂⛰️💍

After a one hour drive, the final 45 minutes were spent navigating a single lane off road mountain road in 4WD, completely alone and questioning whether I was actually going to make it 😂

But the second I reached Jumping Off Rock, I knew it was completely worth it.

Sam brought Kaylee all the way from Ohio, an eight hour drive, just to ask her to marry him at this exact spot overlooking Lake Jocassee at golden hour. He asked, she said YES and they celebrated together surrounded by the most beautiful mountain views 💍

Then I made the entire drive back down the mountain alone in the dark 😅

Can finally share Kaylee’s gorgeous Downtown Greenville bridal session now that she’s officially a whole WIFE! 🤍✨

Our original plan was to photograph her bridal portraits at her wedding venue, but the rain had other plans. Since this was also the day of her bridal hair and makeup trial and rescheduling wasn’t really an option, we pivoted and I’m so glad we did.

Wyche Pavilion in Downtown Greenville gave us the perfect covered location while still keeping that romantic, timeless feel we wanted. And Kaylee?! Absolutely stunning. 😍

Lili & Christian said “I do” at the breathtaking Glassy Chapel in Landrum, South Carolina, with cloudy skies, a little mist, and rain threatening throughout the day. Instead of letting the weather steal the moment, they embraced every second and it couldn’t have been more beautiful. Just as portraits wrapped up, the sun finally broke through the clouds, giving us the sweetest ending to an already perfect day. ☀️

After their ceremony, everyone gathered for dinner at The Hare & Hound to continue the celebration for a delicious sit down dinner and cake.

Some love stories feel like they were written long before the moment ever arrives… and Taylor + Caroline’s proposal was one of those moments. 🤍

A real-life love story unfolding in the gardens of the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC. ✨⛰️ Taylor planned the sweetest surprise, and with friends and family waiting nearby to celebrate, Caroline said yes to forever in the most beautiful way. 💍

The weather forecast was questionable, the clouds were rolling in and out but God provided and held the rain off long enough for this dream of a day to happen. 🙏🏼🤍

After the surprise, I got to wander the gardens of the Biltmore with Taylor + Caroline and capture the sweetest photos of this brand new season of their story. The joy, the laughter, the way they looked at each other… it was the kind of afternoon that reminds me exactly why I love what I do.
