PHOTOGRAPHY IS DYING
(My opinion and rant lol)

What I’m saying is photography as a whole is slowly fading away. The art of photography as a hobby is still there. It’s easier than ever to get acceptable photos. The camera gear is peaking you can get really good photos from a phone now. The new gear coming is so small of an increase it’s hard to justify (we all still want it though lol).

Photo editing has A.I. and it seems you can do just about anything.

And AI created images OMG it’s everywhere.
IVE SEEN PEOPLE SELLING IN BOOTHS.AI GENERATED PHOTOS and saying they took the picture. People are purchasing them and hey you can spend money on what ever you want. But claiming your a photographer when your just having AI do it is pretty shady. In my opinion.

Business wise people think it’s expensive even though it’s an over populated industry and prices have not gone up even when everything else in the world is so expensive. Don’t even get me started on editing software cost and hard drive space. If you raise your prices there is a new photography business that will do it for cheaper. Competition is good but when your competing for prices big business win and small guys operate at lowest possible cost and struggle to still make it worth it.

Passion for your craft for creating something is the only drive.

Anywhooy that’s just my opinion on all this not much you can do. Times are changing

Any newbie photogs reading keep on shooting if you love it I know I will

What’s your thoughts???????
