Maybe I want someone to remember me, even only a little. Living means someone knows you and remembers you.
Frieren and Himmel have one of those stories that manages to be both beautiful and absolutely heartbreaking. Their time together was brief for Frieren, but the impact Himmel left on her lasted far beyond their years together.

For this session, my cosplayers decided to lean fully into the side of the fandom that has spent years wondering what might have been between these two. The series gives us those tiny little moments, and sometimes that is all a fandom needs to run with an idea. 😂 So we did exactly that.

Bok Tower was the perfect setting for them. There was something about the gardens, the quiet, and the timeless feeling of the location that fit their story beautifully. It felt like stepping into one of those memories Frieren might carry with her long after everyone else is gone. 💙

I’m going to become the best Umamusume in Japan! 🐴✨
Special Week was a new kind of character for me, but that’s one of the things I love about cosplay photography. My cosplayers are constantly introducing me to characters and worlds I might never have discovered on my own!

This was another ridiculously fun session with Bunny. They always bring me the cutest and most playful cosplays, and they are SO good at movement in front of the camera. When someone already knows how to move, play with their character, and just have fun, it lets me step back from giving constant posing direction and focus more on finding the right angles and capturing the moment.

And honestly? That can be such a nice change for my photographer brain. 😂💕

“We can’t fix it if we never face it what if we find a way to escape it?
We could be free”
There is something so satisfying about seeing an artist’s design brought to life through cosplay, and this one was truly something special.

This cosplay was inspired by a very specific Rumi pin design from an artist who creates these beautiful, intricate pin illustrations. Fabrics & Fantasy took that inspiration and turned it into an incredible handmade cosplay, complete with intricate sewing, detailed beading, and so many little touches that made the final look feel like it had stepped straight out of the original artwork.

I absolutely love when cosplay goes beyond simply recreating a character and becomes its own piece of art. The amount of time, skill, and attention to detail that went into this costume was incredible, and it made photographing Rumi such a fun experience. ✨

I... followed you. It seemed to me that danger has followed you more closely as of late.
Clorinde is one of those characters who commands attention without ever needing to ask for it. Calm, confident, and always ready for a fight, there is something incredibly fun about bringing a character with that kind of presence in front of the camera.

This session was such a fun opportunity to lean into Clorinde’s strength and precision while capturing some of that quieter, watchful side of her too. There is something about a character who can walk into danger without hesitation but still keep an eye on the people around her that makes her so compelling.

This feeling, it's like... Like a lemon cheesecake! As the cream melts on the tip of my tongue, all my stress fades away.
My first session with Sydney was at Holmat 2025, and she was an absolute delight from the moment we met. She has this bright, joyful energy that is completely infectious, and photographing Navia with her was just as much fun as you would expect.

Navia is such a fun character to capture because she brings this wonderful mix of confidence, charm, and genuine warmth. Sydney brought all of that energy into the session, and I could not stop smiling behind the camera.

Some sessions just feel light from beginning to end, and this was definitely one of them. 💛

“We can’t fix it if we never face it what if we find a way to escape it?
We could be free”
, held at the Orange County Convention Center, always comes with it's challenges when it comes to photo sessions. Throughout one single year I attend anywhere from 3-5 conventions around the same area. Keeping every session different and unique can be on the harder side of things.

The staircase inside of the Hyatt hotel, where this photo was taken, has always been an area that I would "someday hope to use." I've always lacked the confidence to use the space. This year I made it my mission to start being intentional with where I photograph my cosplayers, which meant stretching myself with areas that I've been eyeing for years. I showed Heather the spot and we got to work. The backlighting of the staircase and the front lighting of the windows in front of them really helped create the perfect storm to capture the right photos for our K-pop star, Rumi.

The cool part about this photo is that confidence was built that day. I'm excited to use this area more.

Going into Megacon 2026 I made it my mission to find newer areas or angles that I've either never used before, haven't used in a while or have been scared to use in the past. The Hyatt hotel lobby area was one of those spaces that I was just scared to use. WELL NOT THIS YEAR! Ayden is such a blessing as she trusts all of the wonky ideas that I have. She trust that if something doesn't work I'll still deliver my best to her.

This stairway has the most unique features and for the first time I got a really wild hair and was like "what if I shot down to the ground? I don't know how it'll look.. but it could be fun!" Then this image happened! Adding in the swoops around her kinda make it look like out ballerina has come to life!

I’m obsessed with this session! And there’s more still to come! Marian decided to purchase her full gallery so we’ll be posting Crysta for a while!
I did a new thing for some of the photos in this set. Since Crysta is a fairy I wanted Marian to appear smaller in her photos. I blurred the foreground and background in some of the images to give her a smaller appearance. I think it adds the perfect touch!

The longer one holds on to a memory, the longer one lives in the past... The beautiful memories will eventually turn into hate.
I’ll admit, I was a little nervous going into this session. It was my first time working with Lucas, and whenever I photograph someone new, I want to make sure I’m bringing my absolute best to the table.

Thankfully, I had nothing to worry about. Lucas was an absolute gem to work with, and what started with a few nerves quickly turned into a session full of laughs, great energy, and a whole lot of Vash attitude.

Male characters always push me creatively in the best way, and Vash was no exception. Finding the balance between his larger-than-life personality and the quieter, more emotional side of the character made this such a fun one to photograph.
