The more you try to wrangle them, the fewer real smiles you get.

Sometimes that means you end up with a nose-picking gem to pull out at a family dinner in 10 years.

Sometimes you get exactly the family portrait you were hoping for.

Most of the time with us - you get both.

We first photographed Owen's family back when they lived in Rochester. Now they're in Maine, and on a recent trip I got to do something really special: capture Owen's senior portraits.

We got a lot of great shots, but there's one in particular that might be a favorite of the entire year. Let's just say it involves Owen and three foster kittens - tell me this isn't the cutest senior picture in the history of senior pictures. 🐱🐱🐱

We recently got to photograph KC on the University of Rochester campus for her second round of branding portraits with us! As her coaching business evolved, it was time for a new set of images that reflect where she is today. KC is a leadership and business mindset coach, and we had so much fun updating her library of photos. So glad she came back!

This one felt really special. Bex just earned her MPH from the University of Rochester and wanted to document it the right way, a later-in-life achievement celebrated properly this time around. Cap, gown, campus, and all the joy that comes with it.

We headed to Boughton Park and the basketball court at Kreag Road Park to capture portraits that felt completely like him. Casual, funny, and genuinely easy to work with, Max made this session so much fun. Congratulations, Max! 🎓🏀

We took his session to Boughton Park and the basketball court at Kreag Road Park in Perinton, and it was such a great fit for him. Varsity basketball player, golfer, future business major, and genuinely one of the most easygoing seniors we've had in front of the camera. Congrats, Max!
