Tonight, as I put my kids to bed after their first day back at school, I found myself reflecting on what a beautiful day it was. ❤️
Steve and I celebrated our anniversary today. I couldn’t even begin to tell you how many years we’ve been married without sitting down and doing the math 😂 That’s what happens when you’re a mom and life moves so quickly that somehow you start losing track of the numbers.
But what I do know is this: we’ve built a life together. We’ve simply been doing life.
As a photographer, I’m constantly reminded that this is what we’re all doing. Living life. And it’s the photographs that bring us back to the moments, the memories, and the seasons that sometimes pass by way too quickly.
On wednesday, we also put our youngest on the bus for his first day of kindergarten. 🥹 Another reminder that life doesn’t slow down, even when we wish it would.
So take the pictures. Get in the pictures. Capture the ordinary days, the milestones, and everything in between.
Because someday, you’ll realize the ordinary moments were the beautiful ones all along. ❤️
