Jennifer & Mark 💍 3.28.26 ⛪️ The cutest love story 👇
Mark and Jennifer met in May 2025. Both were admittedly terrible at dating and, unbeknownst to each other, had reached out to the same local dating coach. The coach shared their photos and phone numbers, and Mark made the first move with a simple text: “Hi Jennifer, you have beautiful eyes.” From the very beginning, they had the absolute best time together, taking Jeep rides up mountain trails in Mark’s white Jeep with orange flames on the hood, exploring new places, hiking, paddleboarding, and enjoying picnic lunches Jennifer lovingly packed with hidden notes throughout. They also bonded over evenings at the Hale Center, cheering on the BYU Cougars during football season, and spending Sundays at church followed by peaceful walks around the temple.
After several months of dating, they planned a day trip to the Spiral Jetty. The Great Salt Lake shimmered in shades of pink, with ethereal clouds, glowing sunlight, and endless sky. It truly felt like heaven on earth. In that breathtaking moment, at the edge of the lake, Mark got down on one knee and proposed. Jennifer said yes. Just twenty minutes later, Jennifer slipped on the rocks and broke her ankle, making the day unforgettable in more ways than one. In December, Mark proposed again, this time with a ring, during a beautiful Christmas proposal at their special spot: a covered dock on the edge of Oquirrh Lake.
