Happy New Year!

I’m incredibly grateful for all the support, messages, shares, friendships, and encouragement this past year. It truly means a lot and I’m so grateful for this awesome community!

I might eventually put together some of my favorite images from 2025, but for now… here’s one from Alaska this past year — a bear in full pursuit mode, chasing salmon the way it’s been done for thousands of years.

Thanks for being here and coming along for the adventure!

Little lion, big mountain. I love finding a needle in a haystack.

Taken a couple years back while on assignment for myself and my personal love for these awesome predators.

Caribou don’t just live in Alaska… they own it.
Moving through country that makes you feel small in all the right ways.
Antlers like crowns.
Eyes like they’ve seen a thousand winters.
Wild, regal, untamed.
Exactly why I come up here.

A few weeks ago, when I took this photo, the first hints of fall were just beginning — a few yellow leaves scattered through the willows, cooler mornings, and that quiet anticipation that comes before the season truly turns. This young bull moose had just started shedding his velvet, streaks of red running down his antlers — one of those wild, raw moments I’ve always hoped to capture.

Now, just a few weeks later, fall is in full swing. The colors have exploded, the temps have dropped, and the bulls are shifting into rut mode. It’s amazing how quickly it all happens — one blink and the world feels completely different. Seasons change fast, life moves fast, and moments like this remind me to slow down and take it all in before it’s gone.
