I am so excited to have these images in magazines! I always love it when my seniors pictures are chosen to be published! One of Elliana Fladung was almost a cover! That was amazing! In our school district, today was the first day back to school. For some, it is an exciting first day of many firsts. But for some, this is the end of the first days. If this is you, take a deep breath. Think back to all those other first days of school and congratulate yourself on getting here. Love. It is a bittersweet day. I remember my first last day of school, I couldn’t remember how we got there, how 13 years went by and I didn’t stop to think there would ever be an end to all those first days… And the second kid was different than then the first, my heart broke because I knew it was coming and no matter how much I paid attention to the time passing, I knew it wasn’t going to change anything. It was going to happen anyway. And then the third. I was everything. And extra, extra nervous.
So if you’re excited, emotional, nostalgic, proud, overwhelmed, nervous or somehow all of those things before breakfast… you got this! You are doing a great job! If you need a cheerleader, I can be a cheerleader for you! I know what it’s like, it is wonderful and awful all at the same time.
