At Blue Flame Studio Co, we’ve walked in our customers’ shoes because we’re all on a journey to greater self-acceptance. We are keenly aware of how overwhelming booking your first photoshoot can be. Not knowing the photographer personally, feeling overwhelmed by having to choose outfits, and being confused about how to pose in way that doesn’t look ridiculous adds to many clients hesitation to boo

Someone I have admired since the third grade is making big moves & inspiring me even more. Taking her lived experiences & the power of vulnerability to create a much needed space for women. Her drive and passion for helping others is unmatched as I watch her advocate and liberate herself knowing she has so much to offer others as her superpower. She has been in my corner for most of my life and I want to champion her mission as I believe in her and power of what she is building. At just 40 years young, I know the secret to life. Have known it for over 15 years and paved the way.

There was a sharpie commercial about an artist, that drew on paper cups. In the commercial he says “the difference between a dream and reality is just doing it.” That imprinted on me and I have never forgotten it. It’s something I always go back to and has never failed me.

Want to eat healthier? Just do it.
Want to make friends as an adult? Just do it.
Want to buy your dream home? Just do it.
Want to be more consistent in your skin care? Just do it.

The ideal is almost too simple. Of course the ex*****on is where we get hung up. We get overwhelmed and our mind wants to keep us “safe” so we never even start or we quit. But that’s why the quote stuck with me. If you want it, you will just do what needs to be done. We live in a time that makes it way too easy to be comfortable with excuses. We want and we want but aren’t willing to get uncomfortable to get it. So do we actually want it?

Most women hesitate not because they don’t care, but because they don’t feel like themselves yet.

Maternity photography isn’t about feeling confident or “camera-ready.”
