One of the most common questions I get is about how much of your wedding day will be posed vs. candid, so letās talk about it šš¼
Yes, we absolutely do posed photos. Iāll guide you through portraits and family photos so everything feels easy, natural, and organized. I help guide you all the entire way, from where to place your hands, how to tilt your chin, etc. and prompt you to create those little candid moments yourselves.
But the majority of your gallery is documentary style!
That means Iām capturing your day as it actually happens, start to finish. Not just āin-between moments,ā but all of it. The big moments, the small ones, the expected and the unexpected. Real reactions, real emotions, real memories.
Iām also not just randomly snapping photos and hoping for the best, I know where to be and when to be there. Iām constantly reading the room, anticipating moments before they happen, and paying attention to your people just as much as I am to you. The little interactions, the reactions, the things you might miss in the moment⦠those matter too.
Youāll end up with hundreds of images that reflect how your day actually felt, not just how it looked when posed.
My role is to guide when needed, document whatās real, and make sure nothing meaningful gets missed.āØ
