Proof that photographers are, at times, simply making educated guesses.

Golden hour is beautiful, but what Instagram doesn’t show you is that half the time we’re shooting directly into the sun, squinting through one eye, and hoping autofocus is having a better day than we are.

Clients ask, “Do I look okay?”

I say, “You look amazing.”

The camera somehow agrees.

Thankfully, cameras can see better than photographers can. 😂☀️📸

We'll be heading over to the Baker Lake area over Memorial Day weekend and I'm dying to do some shoots with that crystal water.

So, if you're a military transplant and want to get some epic photos maybe not on Whidbey Island, this one's for you.

Only taking 2 sessions over that weekend so I can focus on making memories with my family. ✨
