hi friends! I realized I’ve never made a proper introduction post, so I thought I’d do a little one now!
I am a mum of nine years, a writer, treasure collector, fantasy and cottagecore enthusiast, baker, birdwatcher, lover of books and sleeping in.
i am most at home in the wilderness, in the forests, the mountains, or by the sea. I have a special attachment to the desert, born and raised alongside the red rocks and sage brush. despite my birthplace, my love for the north has deepened since planting roots in the pacific northwest. my dream is to make it to alaska, though I may never leave.
I am a hobbit by nature, a homebody and cosy seeker. for the first time in my life, I have my very own garden. I’ve learned so much about plants, the earth, and myself through gardening, and it brings me such joy.
I’ve nurtured a love for photography and story telling for a lifetime. coming from a family of artists, it was engraved in my bones. Fox & Fawn Photo Co. was created as an ode to my children, after my son fox and daughter fawn. they are my wee muses and greatest root of inspiration in life and work.
motherhood and family sessions are my utmost favorite to capture, as it’s within these moments I find familiarity. stories of love are equally as special and an entirely different kind of magic.
I firmly believe we are all walking, breathing, loving bundles of stories. having the privilege to preserve the stories of others in such a tangible, artistic way makes my heart soar. there isn’t a single detail I want you to miss.
